It's all about love this week ! My approach would not be holistic if I did not look into what we eat. Food can solve almost all our emotional problems!!
So which foods help you glow and look radiant?
Avocado - full of healthy fats! A study published in 2010 by NCBI, found that a high intake of healthy fats was associated with more skin elasticity. It is also believed that it contains compounds that protect the skin from the sun. Also the vitamin E and C helps as an anti-oxidant. (A 100-gram serving, or about 1/2 an avocado, provides 10% of the Reference Daily Intake (RDI) for vitamin E and 17% of the RDI for vitamin C)
Dark chocolate - attention, really dark chocolate, at least 70%!! Don't start jumping up an down ignoring the word dark :-D . After 6–12 weeks of consuming a cocoa powder high in antioxidants each day, participants in one study experienced thicker, more hydrated skin. Their skin was also less rough and scaly, less sensitive to sunburn and had better blood flow — which brings more nutrients to your skin.
